Dear People of God,

This has certainly been a busy week for everyone.  First, I want to thank everyone who dropped of their potted plants. The school looked so inviting and even Bishop Sample said that it is his directive to make our school welcoming and inviting.  He stopped by after the Prayer Garden for Life blessings and was impressed with the front entrance.

 Secondly, I want to thank Julie Angle for coordinating the Garden Blessing and a special thank you to the 4ith Degree Knights of Columbus Color Guard.  It was great to share some social time with you and Bishop Sample.

 Don’t forget that next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m./1830 is the Open House for the School, come see and experience the hopeful and positive mindset of our Faculty and Staff.  I would really like to see some old graduates of Sacred Heart with old pictures in hand.  It would be nice to have our present students see some of the veteran students of yester-year.

 Continue to pray for our deployed parishioners and neighbors.  Deacon John shared with me that his son was caught in an IED attack, but is alright.  This is a reminded to never cease praying for these dedicated service members and their families.
